Budget proposes $6.4 billion for the FBI in 2008

The FY 2008 budget totals 29,373 positions and $6.4 billion. These funding initiatives will:

Provide 714 new positions (231 agents, 121 intelligence analysts, and 362 professional support) and $313.8 million.

How best to prepare for the interview and the secret to success
There are 14 behavioral interview questions and you will have exactly one full hour to answer them and show the interviewers that you have what it takes to be an agent. If you have never had a behavioral interview before and don't know where to start in order to prepare for this stressful event, you're in for a real treat. I have compiled over 60 typical behavioral interview questions, some you MIGHT be asked in the actual interview. I mean, just how many questions can you come up with to measure your ability to organize, plan, and prioritize, relate effectively with others, maintain a positive image, evaluate information and make judgment decisions, adapt to changing situations, your initiative and motivation, and your integrity? These 60 do a great job at covering the field. I used them during my preparation and they helped tremendously. I had an answer in my head before the interviewers had finished their question.
