My name is Kevin Doherty. In the past 4 years, I have built a very successful acupuncture practice seeing 40-50 patients per week in an area said to be saturated with other acupuncturists. (I could see even more patients than this, but this is what works best for me). I graduated acupuncture school with pretty much no knowledge of how to start a practice. I was lost. I heard about people that I graduated with seeing 3-5 patients per week and working at the grocery store to pay the bills. I heard about others that were seeing 30 patients per week over 6 or 7 days and were exhausted.

The reason that this is happening on such a wide scale is because of three simple factors:

1) Negative or limiting beliefs around money

2) Lack of marketing and business knowledge

3) Ineffective communication skills and patient education
