All the photographs are between 1200 pixels and 1500 pixels on their longest side, so will give you excellent prints up to 8" x 10" from a photo lab, or you can print them letter (A4) size from your own printer for reference work and educational projects.

The images are also suitable for use in brochures, magazines, or advertising material and will print about 5" x 3" at 300dpi and double that at 150dpi.
Why Pictures on Virtual CD?
The contents of the CD (images, index page, captions and licence), instead of being delivered on a physical disk, are delivered over the Internet and saved to your computer's hard-drive. Of course, you can then copy the contents on to a CD or DVD. In fact, we recommend you do that as a way of backing up your images; alternatively, you should back them up on an external drive.
Please note - to avoid any confusion - the images on the Virtual CDs are in digital format and are NOT photographic prints. If you want prints, you'll need to have these made by your local photo lab.
Advantages of a Virtual CD
Price - the Virtual CD costs less because it's not necessary to carry stock of physical disks and covers, while there's also no need to spend time burning the disks.

Traditional CDs
In addition to the Virtual CDs, we do offer "hard copy" CDs for those who prefer to have their pictures on a disk. These contain exactly the same content as the Virtual CDs and can be ordered from our CafePress Store. The cost of each CD is $19.99 plus shipping.
Ordering and Delivery
As soon as your order is approved (usually within seconds), you'll be taken to a web page containing a download link for your Virtual CD. Simply click on the link and download the file to your computer.
The payment process is handled by ClickBank.com, an established and reputable US-based company that facilitates the selling of digital products. Clickbank accepts all major credit cards and Paypal, using a secure order process, so we never see the billing information that customers provide.
Note: the entire CD is contained in a zip file. If you don't have suitable "unzip" software, you can download CoffeeCup's Free Zip Wizard. Note also that because the Virtual CDs contain large, good quality images, the zip files are fairly large - about 15MB - so will take a while to download if you have a slow internet connection.
Returns and Exchanges
ClickBank will, at its option, replace or repair any defective product within 8 weeks from the date of purchase. After 8 weeks all sales are final.
In addition, if within 8 weeks from the date of purchase of your Virtual CD you honestly believe the images are not up to the quality you expected after reading the product information and after viewing the relevant thumbnails and any sample images, please contact us regarding a refund. Any such requests will be treated individually on their merits.
Royalty-Free Licence
Copyright is a complex issue, but the bottom line is that you cannot, without permission, use someone else's image as the basis for your own work, even if you alter it substantially.
With each Virtual CD you get a printable Royalty-Free Licence that gives you the right to use the photos for a wide range of personal or commercial projects. See a copy of the licence.
